Mac Miller's Old-School Sample Gets Ed Lover's Nod

'Party on Fifth Ave.' brings '900 Number' 'back to the forefront,' former 'Yo! MTV Raps' host tells Mixtape Daily.

Celebrity Favorites: Ed Lover

Mac Miller has proven that his appreciation for old-school hip-hop stretches way beyond his 19 years. He first broke out with "Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza," a retread of Lord Finesse's 1996 underground single "Hip 2 Da Game." Miller was only 4 years old when Finesse's original dropped, and he wasn't even born when DJ Mark the 45 King dropped "The 900 Number" in 1987, but that didn't stop the rising rap star from sampling the classic cut on his single "Party on Fifth Ave." Former "Yo! MTV Raps" host and current radio personality Ed Lover applauds Mac's penchant for digging in the crates.

During his run on "Yo!" Ed popularized the 45 King's classic by making it the theme music for his wacky "Ed Lover Dance." Each week, Ed would groove to the funky, horn-driven track, throwing his hands to the sky and swaying his hips back and forth.

"I appreciate Mac Miller bringing that back to the forefront like that. DJ Kool did it that a while ago with 'Let Me Clear My Throat,' but that's actually DJ Mark the 45 King's song called 'The 900 Number,' " Ed Lover told Mixtape Daily. "I just popularized it by using it for the 'Ed Lover Dance.' "

Though "Yo!" has long been off the air as a regular series, the "Ed Lover Dance" remains one of the most-memorable products of the show, even with younger rap fans. "Sometimes, I just go on Twitter and search my name, and you'll see people [write], 'Doin' the Ed Lover Dance,' " the former host said. "So, it's still cool. It's still cool to go out and have that record drop and have everyone turn around and look at you to see if you still gonna do the 'Ed Lover Dance.' "

Watch "MTV2 Presents: 'Yo! MTV Raps' Classic Cuts" at midnight ET/PT December 4, immediately after the Sucker Free Awards at 11 p.m. ET/PT on MTV2.

Conrad Murray Sentenced To Four Years In Prison For Michael Jackson?s Death (Video)

Conrad Murray was sentenced to four years in prison today (the maximum sentence) for his role in the death of Michael Jackson. It is more than likely that he will serve half of that due to the overcrowded jails in California. Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor blasted Dr. Murray (check out his remarks in the video below as well) for showing no remorse whatsoever in Jackson’s death. Here are some snippets of what Pastor had to say during sentencing: ?Talk about blaming the victim. Not only isn?t there any remorse, there is umbrage and outrage on the part of Dr. Murray against the decedent. The fact remains, Dr. Murray is offended that [his] patient died.” ?Michael Jackson died not because of an isolated one-off occurrence or incident. He died because of a totality of circumstances which are directly attributable to Dr. Murray, not some mistake or some accident in the early morning hours of 2009.” Jackson’s mother Katherine and siblings Jermaine, Randy and LaToya were on hand for the sentencing. A statement was read by family attorney Brian Panish prior to Murray’s sentencing. They did not request that the maximum sentence be handed down to Murray but instead said, “We [...]

Justin Bieber Takes Paternity Test

Even after lawsuit was dropped last week, Bieber's team is taking steps to prove the allegations are false.
By Jocelyn Vena

Justin Bieber is a man of his word. After promising he would take a DNA test when a paternity suit was brought against him, TMZ reports the pop star took one Friday night at a lab in New Jersey.

The gossip site reports that the test was taken under "very controlled circumstances," and the next move is on Mariah Yeater, the woman who claimed that her son is Bieber's before dropping her paternity suit last week.

Bieber and his team have maintained that the 17-year-old is not the father of 3-month-old Trystan. E! News reports that there is no timeframe for when Yeater must provide a DNA sample.

When MTV News caught up with Bieber on Thursday night, one day before he took the test, he shrugged off the controversy, instead focusing on the positive and saying he's been doing "great" these days.

Bieber sat down with NYC radio station Z100 earlier that day and joked that he'd prefer the rumors be about running away to South America with a supermodel. "Right now, I'm focusing on my album and the music and the [Pencils of Promise] charity we're doing and just being positive, because Christmastime is a time for joy and happiness, so that's what I'm thinking," Bieber said. "And as far as the whole baby situation, it's unfortunate that it had to happen like that. People make false accusations, but things happen in this industry and you have to keep your head high and be positive."

Those words mirror the advice Bieber's mentor, Usher, shared with him: "Stay strong. And know that all of this comes with the territory."

Unpicking the seams... British Remains' First Creeper

First Creeper Feature Button

Following years of discussion centred around aspects of Britain that they like, hate and mourn, Daryl Saunders and Andrew Bunney launched British Remains. Unveiled last summer, the debut range of t shirts and totes set the tone by celebrating facets of Britain and localised symbols that would ordinarily not be known outside of these shores. Amongst the neglected and the forgotten rubble of Britain, London brickwork, toilet signage and Generation X were all highlighted. In offerings since, the pair have focused their design attention on the Royal Wedding and most recently celebrated the sneering youth spirit of 'them' and 'us'. For AW11, they reveal their first shoe - First Creeper.

Adopted by various youth tribes and factions of the British underground throughout the last half century, the wonderfully named shoe still has the ability to excite by providing quite the visual statement. A heady mix of comfort and rebellion. Traditionally a suede shoe with thick crepe soles, the creeper was borne out of necessity in the years following World War II. British soldiers returning from the desert wars had worn suede boots to which they had attached improvised rubber soles made from old rubber tyres. It is a Mary Shelley tale of a shoe. Returning to London, unsurprisingly the ex-soldiers were attracted to the most desirable undesirable ?night spots?of Kings Cross and Soho. As they found their pleasure, they were still wearing this rubber sole footwear or derivatives that had been put together by their cobblers. Creeping around brothels was enough to give the shoes their name. Now, the brothel creeper immediately evokes images of youth, musical movements and hints at the more rebellious corners of society.

With the mere mention of brothel creepers today, one immediately thinks of George Cox. Therefore, it should come as little surprise that the First Creeper was made in its spiritual home. In 1906, George James Cox founded his shoe company in the heart of England's traditional shoe making region, Northamptonshire. Crafting high quality traditional footwear at first, the company quickly gained fame for the iconic styles that would come to inspire generation after generation of subcultures. From the brothel creepers of the 1950s to the winkle pickers of the 1960s, George Cox have still produce delightful underground styles. Not interested in costume, British Remains wanted to create a creeper that stayed true its tradition whilst making creating a far more accessible shoe. With the thick crepe sole and aggressive notched leather welt softened by the simple suede leather derby upper, their First Creeper undoubtedly pulls it off. From the moment Bunney posted an image of the initial sample back in May over on honeyee, I just knew my ever growing shoe collection needed them. I've obsessed and dreamed about them ever since. Yesterday, following a quick visit to Goodhood my feet's dreams came true. To mark this happy moment and even before I took them out for a pavement stomp, I caught up with Bunney to learn more about my latest fixation...
----------

IMG_1714
British Remains' First Creeper

SS: The First Creeper marks British Remains' first foray in to footwear design. What attracted you to the creeper?
Andrew Bunney: As the name suggests, the label is an exploration into the rubble of Britain. Amongst the neglected and the forgotten there are often gems, and the Creeper shoe represents something really exciting. The nature and shape of the shoe, the nefarious associations that it had, and connotations today make it something quite challenging to wear.

SS: What was your starting point/initial inspiration?
Andrew Bunney: Thinking about British style and British youth cultures, there is always an exciting moment where the looks start to merge and change into something new. What I believe in is creating products that different kinds of people can wear in their own unique way, something that I've done throughout my career. To make something with character that captures the imagination of people into all kinds of things is very special.

SS: Could you talk us through your research and how it impacted on the design? For example, I recall that you mentioned that the sole is the same height as many vintage styles.
Andrew Bunney: It's always interesting to see how things have progressed or changed over the years, and many of the creeper soles today are very high - very cartoon-ish. The classic styles didn't always have soles this high, and of course the idea was always to make this more accessible for today. We used the same height of sole that was used in the past, which would have been sold in places like 'Let It Rock' - one of the most important places for styles to butt up against one another.

SS: How did you go about stamping your take on this iconic shoe?
Andrew Bunney: The most important thing is to push forward - we're not interested in making costume. There are many things I like about vintage Creeper styles, but I want to make something that is relevant to what we're wearing today. The thick sole or aggressive looking welt are very much a 'Creeper', but the simple derby upper makes it much more wearable, and more modern.

SS: Craft and local manufacture are obviously very important to you. Collaboration with local craftsmen and heritage is an integral facet of your brand identity. Here you teamed up with George Cox, how did you identify the individuals to help realise your design?
Andrew Bunney: In some ways today, I think many have lost sight of the manufacturer or have a very hazy understanding of what that means. Of course, we want to find the best factory or the manufacturer for anything that we're making. Despite the many copies by other brands, this style is synonymous with the manufacturer George Cox - there is no other company to go to. However, I don't really think of this as a collaboration - simply using the 'correct' place to make a certain product.

SS: What items can we look forward to in the near and far future from British Remains?
Andrew Bunney: We want to make things that are surprising, and things that make one think a little. It's not interesting to make something unwearable, but for those that are sensitive to details, something challenging - even if it is slight - makes you feel a little more alive.
----------

I could happily listen to Bunney all day, everyday. Following this discussion I could only love my latest acquisition even more. This morning, I took a closer look at them before eagerly jumping straight in to them for the first time...

A closer look ar British Remains' First Creeper with the help of a few detail shots. In the last shot, I teamed them up with black wool trousers by Topman Design and socks by Wigwam.

Through tits exploration of Britain, past and present, British Remains stirs up odd feelings about this island of ours. What it means to be British, what it once meant and how it has evolved. The class struggle, the rise and fall of subcultures, everyday symbols that are often overlooked. These are all things that make Britain so interesting. With its gradual evolution, I'm looking forward to watching this label continue to grow.

Trine Lindegaard SS12

Trine Feature Button

RCA's MA graduate show is undoubtedly one of the most exciting places to discover the fashion stars of the future. Last year, amongst a pulse quickening crop of graduates Trine Lindegaard's eccentric collection dazzled. The young talent drew inspiration from her childhood memories of being surrounded by weird and wonderful eccentrics and collectors when she grew up in Denmark. Her fabric choices of corduroy and waxed cottons along with the silhouettes recalled these rather geeky people, whilst the embellishments echo their collections. Lindegaard?s clothes were colourful with a light-hearted and playful approach to menswear. She used bold embellishment and innovative textile techniques as well as playing with shapes and silhouettes. I was hooked and have kept an interested eye on her development.

Now, 2011 has been some year for Trine Lindegaard. Shortly after graduating the design talent soon started her own own label and has been selling on ASOS since January 2011, collaborated with French textile designer Elisabeth Buecher on Move Me Shirts (which went on sale at the Tate Modern last week) and has now shown as part of Vauxhall Fashion Scout. "As soon as I launched the label I had a strong interest in the brand and ended up selling a lot of pieces from my collection. I was really surprised to discover that it was the most extreme pieces that people wanted. I had to produce everything at the studio, because there was a lot of embellishment which couldn?t be manufactured. This ended up taking a lot of time, and I had to focus on that for a while instead of creating a new collection." The hard work was rewarded the moment she saw men wearing her designs as she confessed "it was great though to see guys wearing these pieces that I initially had made as show pieces and never had expected that anyone would wear on a day-to-day basis. I am glad things turned out this way because I was full of energy when I finally got the time to start making a new collection for Spring/Summer 2012." The wait was well worth it. Having missed out on her well received Vauxhall Fashion debut, the design talent thankfully agreed to talk us through the collection before sharing her spectacular look book...

Sketches

"I knew from the beginning I wanted to do something very crafty and decorative so my starting point was exploring different techniques and embellishments. For my graduate collection, I covered entire garments in thousands of gold rings or little plastic men and cars, which ended up making the garments very expensive to produce. So it was crucial for me to find much cheaper materials for the decorations. I experimented with a lot of everyday objects from paperclips to scrubbers and in the end I decided to keep it simple and focus on one material and quickly discovered the potential of the elastic bands."
Trine Lindegaard on the starting point for SS12.

TL-MoodBoard
TL-rubberbands

"Tons of rubber bands, there is a whole world of rubber band art out there. Once again I was drawn to the geeky kind of individuals who obsessively makes these creatures. I am always interested in people?s stories, and the odder the character the more inspiring I find them."
Trine Lindegaard on the contents of her mood board.

For SS12 Trine Lindegaard focused on what she does best; exploring new techniques and textile developments. Lindegaard simoly explains the collection as "a playful fun and colourful collection with some sporty elements and of course lots of embellishments." For this collection Lindegaard collaborated with an old English company called Ventile fabrics, who specialise in traditional performance fabrics and have a long history of supplying fabrics for the British army. "They make the most amazing quality fine cotton material which by their special tight weaving technique is 100% waterproof but completely untreated or waxed." It is a celebration of everyday objects. Lindegaard used ordinary elastic bands through out the collection, which she dyed and manipulated in every possible way. Rubber bands were cut, layered and stitched together adding texture and new dimensions to the garments. Colourful rubber fringing and crosses endlessly cover and embellish the collection and even appear as wigs. The rubber band patterns and textures were repeated as digital prints in more subtle versions. It is a bold and bright menswear collection which hints at sportswear. It is captured quite beautifully in the Nicole Maria Winkler shot look book....

2011 has undoubtedly been an amazing year for Trine Lindegaard but I'm predicting even bigger things for the coming seasons and beyond. No doubt her talent will continue to be nurtured in the spotlight of Vauxhall Fashion Scout but she cannot be too far away from an on schedule slot. I'll leave you with the hopes of the designer herself.  "In 2012 I am hoping to be getting more stores on board. Currently what comes in gets invested in new projects and I am constantly working on other stuff to be able to get a regular income. I am doing a lot of freelancing as well as some teaching, which I actually really like. The goal would be to be able to focus more time on the brand Trine Lindegaard and to also expand the range of Move Me T-shirts. That would be nice."

Taylor Swift, Rihanna Dress To Impress At Billboard Awards

Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha, Selena Gomez also make fashion splash on red carpet, as showgirl style rules at the Las Vegas event on Sunday night.

On Sunday night, some of the biggest names in the music industry hit up the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas and decided that sparkles and sequins make for the perfect additions to any red carpet get-up. Well, it is Sin City after all.

Taylor Swift always seems to bring some of that Nashville sparkle to any red carpet. She arrived at the show in a pale-hued, sequined Elie Saab gown. Nicki Minaj showed off her signature sense of style in her baby-blue, body-hugging spandex Mark Fast catsuit.

Selena Gomez turned up the style dial in a sexy, cut-out black Dolce & Gabbana gown that she paired with red strappy sandals with sparkly bow detailing. Like Gomez, Ke$ha opted for some cut-out detailing in her sparkly, slate-gray dress with tulle skirt. Rihanna looked white hot in her men's tailored Max Azria suit, which she kept sexy and feminine by not buttoning her shirt all the way.

Fergie went S&M chic in her little black bandage-type dress by Hervé Léger. Nicole Kidman also wore black. She paired a casual braid hairstyle with a long black gown and Keith Urban. British pop cutie Kyle Minogue looked funky in her little black lacey dress. Inside the show, Britney Spears sat in the audience wearing a skimpy black dress of her own, her hair in loose curls, with little-to-no accessories.

While some stars kept the color scheme low-key, Keri Hilson decided to stand out in her billowy little yellow dress paired with a turquoise-colored belt. Kelly Rowland showed off some of her best assets in a body-hugging, bright pink bandage dress.

The fellas also looked tight on the carpet. Joe Jonas wore all black with white sneakers, Ne-Yo paired his periwinkle suit with a Yankees cap and Justin Bieber wore black tuxedo pants with a gold-lamé tuxedo jacket.

Which stars' styles caught your eye at the Billboard Music Awards? Tell us in the comments.

'Dark Knight Rises' Commissioner Gordon 'Very World-Weary'

'He's a little reminiscent of the Gordon you see in 'Batman Begins,' ' actor Gary Oldman says.

This holiday season, fans looking forward to next year's release of "The Dark Knight Rises" should be thankful for "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" and all the press its star Gary Oldman is doing.

MTV News' Josh Horowitz caught up with Oldman, who stars in both of those films, on the red carpet for the Gotham Independent Film Awards and noticed something different about his face. The iconic Commissioner Gordon mustache was missing. After wrapping the film recently, Oldman lost the mustache in favor of a cleaner look.

"The Gordon mustache is retired," Oldman confirmed. "They gave me a shadow box, and it has my badge, my glasses and the mustache. He is retired."

Empire magazine's recent on-set feature dropped the detail that "The Dark Knight Rises" will take place seven years after the end of its predecessor "The Dark Knight." This obviously leaves a lot of time out of the story and a lot of changes for the characters, including Gordon. Oldman said that his character has a return to an earlier form for the trilogy's finale.

"He's a little reminiscent of the Gordon you see in 'Batman Begins.' They've tidied up the city, but there's still work to be done. He's very world-weary," Oldman said.

One of the more mysterious cast additions, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as beat cop John Blake, meant an extra man in Gordon's Gotham PD. Oldman described his time working with Gordon-Levitt as a little distracting, but in a good way. "Someone that talented, I do these scenes with him and you can't put a pin through an insincere moment," he said. "It's wonderful. You come out of character sometimes because ... you're in the scene and you find your head going, 'Wow. He's pretty good.' "

Check out everything we've got on "The Dark Knight Rises."

Charlize Theron Teases Kristen Stewart 'Showdown'

'I'm just really, really, really hoping I get to kill her,' the 'Snow White and the Huntsman' star jokes to MTV News.

Ever since the trailer arrived for Kristen Stewart's next likely blockbuster, "Snow White and the Huntsman" -- a.k.a. her first big post-"Twilight" movie -- we've been chomping at the bit for more info about the film.

Luckily, MTV News had a fun-filled chat recently with Stewart's "Huntsman" co-star Charlize Theron, during which the South African-born beauty revealed that she and Stewart are about to shoot the film's climactic battle sequence.

"I'm still shooting ['Huntsman'], I'm going back in two days," Theron told us as she promoted the comedy "Young Adult." "I haven't really worked with [Kristen]. I've done some small things with her, but we're about to shoot our big showdown, and fingers crossed for me. It's the big battle. I'm just really, really, really hoping I get to kill her," she said with a smile. "That is how the story ends up, right?"

While the Rupert Sanders-directed flick is a new adaptation of the classic fairy tale, somehow we don't think Theron will get her wish. Maybe her Evil Queen will wound Stewart's Snow White in some way, but death doesn't seem too likely.

For her part, Stewart has had nothing but praise to heap on the film -- so much so that she's open to the idea of doing more than one movie as the fairest one of all.

"Oh, man, to be totally candid and honest with you, when I first signed on to this thing, the idea of doing another franchise was like, 'Wow, [we'll] cross that bridge when it comes.' It was something so far outside my realm of thinking," Stewart told us recently. "I was so focused on the first one, and I thought, 'Maybe, maybe,' but I've got stars in my eyes. I'm literally over the moon about what I'm doing right now," she said of her work on "Huntsman." "Yes, I would love to [do more 'Snow White' films]."

Check out everything we've got on "Snow White and the Huntsman."

Lindsey Vonn, Husband to Divorce

Olympic skiing gold medalist Lindsey Vonn is officially back on the market.

The 27-year-old has filed for divorce from Thomas Vonn, Yahoo! reports.

"This is an extremely difficult time in my personal life and I hope the media and my fans can respect my need for privacy on this matter," she said in a statement.

Thomas Vonn, a former Olympic skier himself, had been her chief adviser and scheduler. "[I will] continue to be coached by the U.S. ski team," Lindsey added.

Lindsey and Thomas Vonn

Their relationship caused a rift between Lindsey and her father Alan Kildow, due in part to their nine-year age difference. Kildow, who was replaced by Thomas as her coach and mentor, was not invited to the couple's 2007 wedding.

Lindsey is one of five women to have won World Cup races in all five disciplines of alpine skiing: Downhill, Super G, Giant Slalom, Slalom and Combined.

The Minnesotan won the gold medal in downhill at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Equally impressively, SI published these ludicrously hot Lindsey Vonn photos.

'We've seen him [with] 'Baby,' now we're watching him grow up,' producer Kuk Harrell tells MTV News.

Justin Bieber has said that he wants to pull a Justin Timberlake on his next album. So what exactly does that mean? His longtime vocal producer, Kuk Harrell, spoke to MTV News about the early stages of Bieber's next release.

"The only conversation we've had about Justin's album that we're about to do is it's really important that it's the proper transition because we've seen him [with] 'Baby,' now we're watching him grow up," said Harrell, who has also worked with Rihanna on her Talk That Talk record. "And we can't just throw him into the adult game right away. It has to be the proper transition. There's a record in between."

With further details on this next album being kept under wraps, Bieber is busy celebrating the holidays. He's slated to release his video for "All I Want for Christmas," co-starring Mariah Carey, on Wednesday. Harrell worked with Bieber on his Under the Mistletoe LP and says agreeing to do a Christmas album with the teen phenomenon was an easy yes.

"That's why I think this Christmas album was really important because it gave everybody the opportunity to hear him, see him and get used to his voice changing," he said. "That was a huge thing going into this album. We were able to get a running start on where he's at vocally 'cause it's a natural thing. When his proper album comes out, everybody's going to really be looking at that."

What will be noticeably different on this next album, which was teased on his holiday album, is that Bieber's voice will be much deeper. So does Harrell think it'll be changing a lot more for this next record? "I think he's pretty good right now," he said. "It's just a matter of him settling [into] where he is."

Regardless of what magic does end up making the final cut on this album, which Bieber has said may include work from Drake and Kanye West, Harrell notes that the 17-year-old is "always willing to bring a new fire."

Round three is now open for voting in the Britney Spears Tournament: 30 Videos for 30 Years!

When polls closed Sunday night, we had narrowed the brackets down from the Sweet 16 to the Elite Eight, and some of the results were shocking!

Four of the eight matchups in round two of the tournament remained neck-and-neck until the moments the polls closed. After holding the advantage for most of the second round, "Everytime," which also happens to be Perez Hilton's favorite Britney Spears video, fell out of the tournament, losing to Britney's diva alter ego in "Lucky."

Two of Britney's most dance-heavy videos, "(You Drive Me) Crazy" and "Me Against the Music," were back and forth with each other for most of the round before Madonna and Britney's hit lunged forward and sent green-tube-top Britney out of the tournament with less than 1 percent more of the votes.

Head over to Britney30.MTV.com and vote for your favorite music video in MTV News' Britney Spears Tournament: 30 Videos for 30 Years.

Round three will see "Stronger" take on "Criminal" in a pairing that many thought would be "Oops! ... I Did It Again" vs. "... Baby One More Time." Of Britney's three VMA-winning videos that remained in round two, only her most recent win, "Till the World Ends," will move forward to battle it out with "Lucky."

Round three will also see two of Britney's most iconic videos, "Toxic" and "I'm a Slave 4 U," go up against each other; only one of them will make it to the Final Four.

Round three is open for voting until Tuesday, November 29, at 11:59 p.m. The final four will be announced and open for voting on the morning of Wednesday, November 30.

Which video are you rooting for? Are you surprised by any of the results so far? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!

Birdman Boasts Of YMCMB 'Family Atmosphere' In 'Y.U. Mad' Video

'We're unified,' Birdman tells MTV News of clip featuring Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.

Birdman has every reason to smile, and in his latest video, for "Y.U. Mad," the #1 Stunna puts his diamond-encrusted grill on full display. Not only is his YMCMB record label the biggest rap label of the year thanks to high-profile releases from Lil Wayne and Drake, but the camaraderie displayed in his new clip, which premiered on MTV2 on Sunday, is very real — both on and off camera.

"We like this with each other on an everyday basis. It's just fortunate that it's a video and they get to see it in that way," Birdman told MTV News from his trailer on set of the "Y.U. Mad" video shoot in Miami back in October. "It's a family atmosphere, and we talk a lot and we work a lot, and when it comes down to the music, we do it together, we're unified. It's what Lil Wayne and Birdman and Young Money, Cash Money all about — working as a team."

The proof is in the Gil Green-directed video off Birdman's upcoming solo LP Bigga Than Life. Nicki Minaj sets things off, in character as "The Female Weezy." Dressed in a white wifebeater, camouflage pants, skater sneakers and a blond dreadlocked wig, Nicki embodies Lil Wayne's persona as she prances on the screen rapping her verse.

It wouldn't be a Birdman video if the #1 Stunna didn't flaunt his wealth. In one scene, Baby rides around M-I-A in a white convertible Mercedes Maybach, in another he sits with YMCMB execs Mack Maine and Cortez Bryant at a long dining table littered with vodka bottles and exuberant amounts of cash.

Still, it's the ear-to-ear grins that make "Y.U. Mad" stand out from previous Birdman videos like "Fire Flame" and "Always Strapped." Wayne may have had the most fun on set, rocking a high-top, red fur hat, colorful shorts and a backpack containing his skateboard.

The song was originally something that Nicki was working on but then gave to Birdman in order to keep it in the family. From the first listen, the Cash Money CEO was in love with what is now his latest single. "I liked it from the start," he said. "Working with Nicki is just special anyway. It was something she gave me and I felt good about it so we rocked with it." And apparently they had a blast doing it.
